Bring the farm to your classroom via video conference

Target 100 will be hosting several video conference lessons throughout Term 3, 2016. Register below to take your class on a virtual excursion, in lessons that are aligned to the curriculum - you might even be lucky enough to have a farmer join you in your lesson.

Stage 2 & 3 | Farming around Australia

In this lesson students will learn about living things, and how they depend on the environment to survive. They will discover why cross-breeding occurs and how it helps farmers, as well as finding out about how technology is used to help farmers run their farms efficiently and sustainably. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other students around Australia and speak directly to guest farmers and ask any questions they have about life on a farm.

They will identify items in a healthy packed lunch and discuss where they came from. Students will role-play the different jobs on a farm and complete interactive quizzes, as well as speak directly to guest farmers and ask any questions they have about life on a farm.
